Summer Sale
June 6 & 7, 2026
Saturday and Sunday 10 – 5
This spring I’ve made some changes: instead of a Mother’s Day weekend sale, I’m planning a Summer Sale in June! I’ll be including seconds and older stock in this one, too. If you’ve been here in the last year or so, you know I’ve been improving my house and studio. This second round of work may well be underway during May and even June, and that’s one reason I chose to delay my sale.
My firing squad and I will have done two soda firings before the June sale. There’ll be lots of new pots.
About a year ago I was peeling some rutabagas when I noticed how pot-like they seemed, and snapped a picture:
I let that idea simmer and this year began making some bud vases based on those forms:
I’ll see how they look when fired, but so far I love playing with a small group of them, arranging them in various ways.
Birds have been often in my sight and mind this winter/spring, and they’ve inspired more vases, bud vases, pitchers and small plates. I also went all in for the small snack plates I tried in the fall, both as warm-ups for painting recent large storage jars and as ends in themselves. Plus, as always, lots more mugs! I hope you’ll come see these and other new pots.
